How to stop robocalls from "7070" or "100"

Post by TKS »

I have been receiving robocalls from this number "100" all last week, and this week it is from this number "7070". They call every hour, even at night time. Just checked, this weekend I received 27 calls from them, and the weekend isn't over yet !!! I had to resort to programming my phone set to stop ringing at nighttime because it wakes me up. This is ridiculous. They somehow bypass the FreePhoneLine voicemail, and it keeps ringing and ringing. Also this number does NOT show on my logs on freephoneline.com and on my phone callerID display only shows "100" or "7070". THese types of crooks should be stopped.

HOW DO I STOP THESE ROBOCALLS? This is bordering on harrassment.

Hi there,

Please check your HT701 configuration for "allow incoming Sip messages from SIP proxy only" and set it to 'Yes"

See attached.

Let me know if there's any improvement.

Thanks,

Thank you... my config looks slightly different, but I was able to find 3/4 of those settings. Trying it now. Thank you.

Unfortunately, after setting the parameters as you described, I was not able to receive ANY phone calls.
I tried to roll-back one by one, but it only started to work when I completely rolled-back everything.
So back to square one, I am vulnerable to Direct IP robocalls, which will be annoying at 2am at night and no way to turn them off.

I now have:
Use Random Port: No
Transfer on Conference Hangup: No
Allow Incoming SIP Messages from SIP Proxy Only: No

Please help.

Did you try just setting this option?
Allow Incoming SIP Messages from SIP Proxy Only

As long as your ATA is registered correctly that one should stop the stray SIP calls.

I am locking this thread, this has been posted an umber of itmes in the forums as well as the resolution.

One such example, found by using the search bar in the top right corner as we ask people to do, can be found here.

A simple search of "Calls from 100" brought up a list of threads.
