Hi,
I've recently signed up for Freephoneline/Fongo system, and so far everything's been working fine, I can make and receive calls, I use Linksys PAP2T-NA adapter in order to continue using my existing Panasonic cordless phones. There is only one somewhat minor issue I've encountered so far that I haven't seen any solution for: the Panasonic phone shows on the display a list of received and missed calls. It seems that whether I answer (pick up) a call or not, it ends up showing up as a "missed" call afterwards. Anyone know why and how to fix this? It's more of an annoyance than anything 'serious' but if it can be fixed, i'd like to do that.
Thanks in advance.
Everything works but received calls show as missed?

Re: Everything works but received calls show as missed?
I have different adapter, but commonly with your adapter it has 2 phone ports as well. You have two different phone sets connected to those two ports. When you receive the incoming call, you are picking up one of them and the second set will indicate you missed the call (and vise versa). This is how you end up with with all the calls (answered or not) marked as missed. Solution is very easy ... use one phone set.
Best regards.

Well but there's no way to connect the second handset - this is a cordless system so you have one base, with answering machine system etc (which is plugged into the Linksys adapter), and then the rest of the handsets just operate wirelessly, there's nowhere to connect them...

What I thought is you have 2 bases connected to the 2 ports. In this case you'll get this situation. If you have just one base connected to one of the ATA ports, everything should be fine, no matter how many handsets you have.
If you have one base connected, you should look at the physical phone lines settings of your adapter, probably you should set the default one to the port you are using or/and disable the second port at all if you don't have a use for it. Please note this is just speculation as I have different adapter.
I tried to help as I had the same issue when connected two bases in the same time to use with one phone number. If you saying this is not your case, keep asking for help someone who has the same ATA.
sorry.

Re: Everything works but received calls show as missed?
It's ok, thanks for trying, but indeed, that's the setup as you described. I have only one base connected to the Linksys PAP2T-NA adapter. Perhaps I need to disable second port, will see if that makes any difference.
If anyone else has suggestions what other way I can use to fix it, please respond. Thanks.

Disabling the second line won't help. It's separate from line 1.
Is it your phone that is displaying it as a missed call? or are you looking at the online logs?
If it is on the phone, I can only assume it is something to do with the phone. Have you tried a different phone to see if you get the same behaviour? There 'could' be something like a voltage setting that is wrong in the ATA and so causing the phone not to recognise the call as being answered, but I think that is probably a long shot. Either way I would take a second or two and make sure the settings are all as in the guide which works well.

Re: Everything works but received calls show as missed?
Hi, yes it is the actual cordless Panasonic phone that shows the call as missed. Call log online doesn't show these as missed.
I will go back and check the settings with the ones you posted a link to but I think I've used those already... will double-check though. Like I said, it is an annoyance more than anything, as making/receiving calls works just fine, it's just that the calls I answer show up on the phone's display later as 'missed'. If possible, I'd like to have that working properly, but it's a small price to pay for ditching Bell POTS
