Phone number in app not matching the account phone number

Hi,
This morning I saw that my phone app showed a different phone number than the one that was associated to my account.
I received several messages from somebody that was intending to message the phone number that was not mine.
I updated the app and no result.
I restarted the phone and no result.
On the fongo.com website my account still said the old and correct phone number.
Finally, I logged out and logged in and the correct phone number showed. I don't know how long this has been going for.
It's a bit worriesome, anybody have an explanation?
