Number Porting Question

So if I purchase the $50 config info and then later decide to port over my existing number, do I have to buy another $50 config info?

No, but it will replace the FPL number you have right now. If you want to keep that number also then you will have to open a new account and port the number into that one. Obviously then you would have to buy another unlock key if you want to use it on your ATA then and have two numbers.
