Hi, there!
I am intrigued about something. According to the main Web-page, in regards to the 10-digit number we need to use for registration purposes, "This number must be correct. You will be called on this number by an automated system to confirm your registration, with the 3 digit PIN code we will email you. This number must be a direct phone number, it cannot contain any extensions, it cannot be another FreePhoneLine number, and it must be a Canadian number." What about if I use a direct VOIP Canadian number I can answer to, using a softphone? Will this work? I don't see the reason why it won't work, but I would like to confirm, please.
Please, fellow reader, if you know the answer to this, be so kind to post.

As long as your DTMF is working fine, you can do it.

Hello, Zombie999!
Thanks for helping.
You mean if my softphone has/will have touchtone buttons I can press back, right? If so, the answer is yes.
I appreciate your great help, and if somebody else has similar experience in this regard, please post.

Yes as long as your softphone (as most do) works as a touch-tone, and you're not having some network issue that stops the touch-tone sound from being sent you're fine.
Only other FreePhoneline VoIP numbers are restricted from being sign up numbers.
I've noticed a few interesting responses to some of the VoIP testing I've been doing since getting my config file, I suspect you'll find it's pretty easy to get set up with a basic account
