Account Number prompted at Voicemail

Hello,

I have followed instructions on how to set up voicemail

-Changing numbers for Busy, Unanswered etc
-Changed the actual voicemail number.

I use Wind Mobile in Ontario,Canada.

When someone calls and/or I try to press 1 to access voicemail I get the prompt

*Please enter your 'account number'

I have no clue what it is, and cannot find it in my freephoneline account.

Your account number is your phone number, with the initial 1 - so 11 digits in total.

I managed to log in; put a 1 before the phone number then the password

My real issue is that when people call they are prompted to put in my account number.

That doesn't sound right. If people are calling your FPL/Fongo number they should not be requested to enter an account number.

Are you sure you are calling into the Fongo network?

I use my freephoneline number as the forwarding number and the number above as the voicemail number.. is that right

http://www.freephoneline.ca/vmAccessNumbers

And open up Settings in my Galaxy Nexus 'Voicemail' and put the Toronto number in.

Yes very promptly and professional service. 10/10 and I am very happy. Was a simple fix.. just had to change some phone settings.

I would like to know if I can use this number as a free cell phone line??? or no?
