Call forward issues

Post by Avster »

Hi all,
I have an issue where somehow (not sure how it is being triggered most likely manually) the call-forward option triggers on my ATA without my knowledge. i constantly use the *73 option to unforward the calls but i am wondering if there is a way (they the phone keypad) to perminantly disable the call-forward option from enabling in the future? so if someone hits *72#### it will not work and will not accept the call forward command. Is there such a solution ?

Thanks all for your help,
oh and i have the SPA2102 ATA unit.

If you log into your ATA and then admin->advanced links, you should be able to go to the Regional (I think this is the right tab) which will list all the * codes. Just delete them from there and save, then they can't be used. If you do this, I would leave the deactivation codes just in case they set some other way, but delete the activation codes.
