I transferred my cell number to Fongo and about 5 days later, I got a confirmation that the porting process will complete in a few more days.
I did a number port from Telus to Freephoneline last week and have yet to receive a confirmation.
My account with Telus will end in 2 weeks and I would like to know if the porting will be successful or not. I need this number and cannot afford to lose it. I will cancel the request to terminate my services if necessary.

I submitted my request several weeks ago as well but I haven't received any confirmation that the request was completed.
I received a call from Bell yesterday that a there's been a request to have my services cancelled as of the 31st which is tonight!!
Can someone please confirm that my existing land line number has or will be ported over come 12:01am?
