Can I keep mobile number and fongo number on my android?

Post by rn4ever1 »

I have a samsung galaxy 3 and I am with Koodo. They have great plans but I have no service in my house. I was told to use wifi but most applications you can't receive calls or receive in Canada. I would like to keep mobile nukber and switch to fongo number when at home. Is this possible?
Thanks

I am not sure what you mean. I do not have a landline and use voip for incoming and outgoing calls. I really can't use Fongo for incoming (and most outgoing) as their service in not good in Newfoundland so I have to use other voip providers. I am not sure what you mean by "...most applications you can't receive calls or receive in Canada"

What voip provider do you use? I dont want to have a phone number that causes other people to pay long distance, like magic jack. Can I keep my mobile number and use a voip provider on the same cell phone?

Exactly what provider that you choose depends on your needs and there are a lot to choose from. I have a local number from one provider ($1 per month) and make most of my outgoing calls with another.
I have sent you a pm.
