Lost connection: My HT-286 ATA is no longer registered

Post by sorinneagoie »

Hi ,

My ATA HT-286 seems to have lost connection with the SIP server. I checked the web interface configuration and it shows "Regstered: No:". Checked the box with the phone menu and teh IVR reports error E103E (Device is not registered to SIP server).

Any ideas where to check next ?

Thanks,
Sorin

Hi there,

It looks like your device is no longer connecting to our servers. This could be due to a DNS error at your end.

Please power of Modem, Router and HT286 from power for at least 20-30 minutes and power back on after 30 minutes starting with your modem.

Let me know if unit is registering after this.

Thanks,

Thanks for your reply .

I did that a couple of times. I've also tried to change port forwarding - is there a definite list of ports I should forward for UDP?

Thx,
Sorin

It worked after a complete power down. Thanks for your help.
