Cannot hear caller

I cannot hear caller but they can hear me. I have a dsl line and my router is linksys e2500. Oddly, before i had cable and the phone worked fine but unfortunately, i had to switch to dsl because i had issues with the cable. Anyone able to guide me in resolving this issue ..thx mxez
