[SOLVED] Forwarding Freephoneline Number to Fongo Mobile App
I read that you cannot forward a Fongo mobile number to another Fongo mobile number. But it doesn't mention anything about not being able to forwarding a freephoneline number to a Fongo mobile app number. I thought they are different. How come it won't let me forward my freephoneline number to my Fongo mobile app number or vice versa? Thanks

You know, this seems to change as often as the seasons do. Over the years I cannot count the number of times people have mentioned that they can forward inter network, and then the next minute people are saying they can't.
I believe the system will just look to see if the number you are trying to enter is one owned by Fibernetics (Fongo's Dad), so it won't matter which brand of Fongo you try and forward to. As I said though, sometimes you are allowed, and sometimes you are not. I know I have one number pointed at another but that was set up a long time ago.

I just tested, and I was able to add both a FPL number and a Fongo Mobile number to my FPL account.
What are you seeing when you try and add a number?

It's saying this number is invalid either way I go. Forward FPL to Fongo mobile or forward Fongo mobile to FPL.
I would like to mention that I haven't ported my number to FPL yet though if that makes any difference. Maybe I will have to open a ticket. But I would like to eventually port in my number to FPL then forward that to Fongo mobile. But I am just testing with the automatically assigned number I got from FPL and I get that message when I try to put in the Fongo mobile number. I kinda wanted to just have it already set up so that all I needed to do is port in my number to FPL and the account would already be set up to simultaneously forward the call to Fongo mobile.

I just opened a ticket with Fongo about this as well. Hopefully there's something they can do on the backend.

Good news. After speaking with customer support, we were able to fix the issue. Everything is working how I want it. FPL calls are forwarded to Fongo Mobile. Thanks Jake and Fongo Support!

No they didn't but if someone else does have this problem, opening a ticket and explaining which number they want to forward to which is all the info they needed and they can fix it on the backend. Very happy with their customer support
