311 Call = long distance call

311 Call = long distance call
This morning I had to call city 311 number. Guess what? For the 14 minutes call I was charged 3cent per minute which is 46 cents. Come in guys this is not a long distance call !! Please get the refund and let me know how to fix it. Thanks

To be fair, that is for Fongo, but I do know there is the same entry for FPL http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... -be-called
Also, it does not say about 311 numbers. 310 yes, but I can't find anything in the support pages saying 311 numbers will be charged.
The rate tool (http://www.fongo.com/calling/long-distance/) does say that 311 numbers are not free, so maybe the support pages need to be updated.
@domptg If you are going to need to call 311 often, I would look on the city's web page for a 1800 or direct dial number instead.
