Grandstream HT-701

Post by DUX05 »

My HT701 had one way audio issues when I first set it up, and then someone on one of the forums suggested using voip2.freephoneline.ca instead of voip.freephoneline.ca, and then fixed the one way audio issues.
I just got back from vacation and now have oneway audio.
Did anything change? Any suggestions?
My wife is frustrated with this and we may have to switch to TekSavvy TekTalk and pay the $10 a month :(

Something has changed yes. You need to open a support ticket and PM the ticket number to Fongo Support. See my sig for links and note.

I am having the exact same problem, I bought 2 voip unlock keys for one HT-701 and a cisco spa112. The problem was solved when I switched to voip2.freephoneline.ca, both ATA worked fine until 2 days ago. What need to be changed?

I have been informed that people with audio problems need to open support tickets to get the problem fixed, so as above I encourage you to open a support ticket and PM the ticket number to Fongo Support who should be able to help you out.

I did try to open a ticket 2 times, I did not get a ticket number, should I request again, and what issue type should I choose, because when, I choose account blocked and voip key support, I got email back, but both without a ticket number. I sent a PM to fongo support as well without a ticket number, not sure will this help.

Try the option above it "VoIP Unlock Key" and then choose "Technical Support".

Account blocked will be for when your account gets suspended, but audio being blocked I think.

Hi Jake, I tried option VOIP unlock key and choose Technical support, I got email back saying ticket closed, I know you mentioned ignore it, and send PM to Fongo Support with the ticket number, but I did not get a ticket number, I sent PM to fongo support anyway without the ticket number. Is it ok?

My problem is now fixed. open a support ticket, you can find the request # on top of the page after you submit the request, write down this request # and send Fongo support a PM with this number, they will response. All they do is to validate your account and force a registration, they will notify you when done. Power off you ATA for a while and then power up again, it will work.

Thanks a lot, Fongo Support.
