two Obi 100 in the same network

Hello everyone

Here is my issue.
I have a network starting with the router provide by the internet provider and a wireless router(Netgear WNDR 3400) connected by cable to the internet provider's router. At this router I add an range extender to provide a rc45 plug for a second OBi100.
The first device obi100 is connected directly to the internet provider router and is working very well.
For the other one connected to the router extender is not working. The settings are done identical, but it is shown as not registered and we can't call or receive calls. The extender is working fine because the internet is working, do I have to open some ports in wireless router(Netgear WNDR 3400)?
In the call history there is an error 400...
Any ideas?

Please try this (both devices)

You will need to reset OBI to factory defaults- details below:

1.Reset OBI to factory defaults

3. Add device to Obi portal
4. Select Freephoneline as a provider
5. Enter your name, sip user id and sip password
Name: Your name
User: your FPL sip user ID
Pass: your FPL SIP password
6. click on submit
7. After 2 minutes, your device will be configured

Test the line and let me know.

we did some progress, but I still have some issues. I can't hear who is calling me but they can hear me and in the call history I have this message

"End Call (400 Bad Request(Bad Content-Length (larger than datagram)))"

You need to make sure both obi units are using different RTP ports. They cannot be identical, or there will be a conflict.

A good router with predictable firmware is an absolute must. Manually forwarding ports is highly recommended. It would be a bad idea to let the router try to sort this out automaticly.

The issue was partially solved by unchecking the option "Disable SIP ALG" from the Netgear WNDR 3400 router.
Partially???? because we can't talk in between us even if I changed the RTP ports.
What else I have to change?

Hate to say it, though not a surprise, but your router firmware looks to be cack. It is failing miserably in doing what is, it's reason for existence, properly routing packets. Your 2 ATA devices cannot talk to each other because they are on the router's internal network, but also using the external Fongo network, and the router is confused. So if you can update the router to a more recent firmware, which may or may not help, or DDWRT, if you got a version 1 model. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Netgear_WNDR3400

When a router has any stink of SIP ALG, do not use port 5060 on any of your ATA devices, use something like 6060 or 5068 instead. Because some routers still enable SIP ALG no matter what setting you select.

If you cannot flash this router with ddwrt, I would get another router, specifically one that can be flashed with DD-WRT. To be doing this stuff you are doing, you need a router with a stable, working firmware, and not the garbage you usually see with consumer routers.
