long silence followed by fast busy signal

I am trying to call 2 numbers that used to work but starting sometime in the last week, I get a long silence followed by a fast busy signal.

they are not long distance calls.

any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like your ATA might not be registered.

Could you explain your set up a bit?

all other calls work fine and these 2 numbers used to work fine as well.

both numbers are 226270xxxx

i have an linksys spa2102

Ah OK. Those numbers come up free in their lookup and I don't see any other reason why they would not work, unless the numbers have been disconnected on the receiving end.

I maybe should have suggested this first but I initially thought you were having a more general problem calling out - but you will need to open a support ticket and then PM the ticket number to Fongo Support (see sig for the links). I would also include the full numbers in your PM to them so they can fully check the routing their end.

just tried them again today and they are now working again. Weird.

The same thing is happening to me on my desktop app. Call my number and you get a long silence, then fast busy, but it's intermittent. Most times this happens, but every once in a while, I can get through. Not good.
