Can't hear other party when calling 416 or 647 numbers

Post by amuroray78 »

Hi everyone,
I am using voip2.freeephoneline.ca as the proxy and my phone number is 416-xxx-xxxx. When I am calling other 416 or 647 numbers, or receiving calls from 416 or 647 numbers, I can't hear from other party. However, if I calls 905 or receives calls from 905 numbers I can hear the other party. This issue starts showing up a month ago. I have not modified my ATA device configuration nor any router settings for over 6 months. So I don't think this issue has anything to do with my configuration.

Any ideas why this happens to 416 or 647 numbers only? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using the voip server, rather than voip2?

Other than that I would suggest opening a support ticket so they can have a better look into your account. The links are in my sig.

Thanks for the Fongo support's help, they re-register my account and the problem is resolved. I have tried voip server but it doesn't solve my problem. The support folks told me the registration somehow wasn't done properly.
