how to use speed dialing?

Hello guys.

I am new here. I just started using FPL for desktop. I entered some phone numbers in the speed dialing tab under menu>> settings but I can't figure out how to use them.
I tried pressing various shortcut keys with no success [e.g. control+1, shift+2, alt+2]

I believe you just dial the number. So for speed dial #3, just dial 3 on the keypad and hit call.

It works but it's buggy! Some phone numbers when you save it to the speed dialing list, it will not be saved! When I go back to the saved dialing list the phone number entered will always be blank [no matter what order I save it in]

Is there any configuration file that I can edit and manually insert the speed dialing phone number?
