Hi,
I'm new to freephoneline and I just have a couple of questions regarding follow me feature. I have a London phone number from freephoneline and a Toronto cellphone number under Rogers. If my friend calls my London number, I would assume he is not going to be charged since its a local number. But what happens if I forward my London number to my Toronto cellphone number. Will I be charged? Will my friend be charged? or are we both going to be charged? Thanks.

No one will be charged - it will be seen as a normal local call for your friend to your London number.PlayerzInc wrote:Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply. So you mean, when it forwards to my cellphone, my cellphone will treat it as an incoming call right. But will rogers charge me since the call forward is coming from a London area code number (long distance)?

You'd have to contact Rogers on that.. generally speaking you should not be charged more for incoming LD calls, but verify that with Rogers to be sure.PlayerzInc wrote:Thanks for the quick reply. Generally speaking cell providers charge you for incoming based as a local call, and may include roaming depending on where you are at the time you receive the call.
It is very unusual to be charged long distance for incoming calls, and as far as Roger's system is concerned your friend could be making the call direct and they wouldn't know the difference.
