Can't change any settings in the Desktop app

I just installed the fongo desktop app for the first time on Windows 7. I can go into the settings and change them but none of them actually change. The save button seems to be acting like a cancel button. I even tried using the cancel button in case they were mixed around but ended up with the same results.
