Freephone line goes un registered

Post by dimble666 »

Hi,

I've been having this issue for more than a month now. This doesn't happen always but sometimes daily or sometimes after 2-3 days.

I'm using SPA112 ATA adaptor and using Cisco M20 Router and using Acanac cable Internet. After few days the line 1 in the ATA adaptor doesn't light which shows it lost the registration. If I restart or un plug and plug in it doesn't register. Even if I switch off router and restart it doesn't register. But if I switch between voip.freephoneline.ca and voip2.freephoneline.ca then it registers. It's been happening for more than a month now. Whenever it goes un registered I switch between two servers and managed to keep my line working.

Please advise me if I need to make any changes in my ATA adaptor or router setting to resolve that. All the required ports are forwarded.

Thanks

I would suggest what is happening here is your timers are not set right and you are being blocked by the server, thus swapping server fixes it temporarily as there won't be a current ban on that server.

You need to go though the guide for your ATA (http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=14554) and keep in mind the values on this page (http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... redentials)

If you think everything is all set up right or need extra help, open a ticket using the links in my sig.
