One way audio

Post by JulioQc »

Hello,

I'm experiencing oneway audio recently: I can be heard but I cannot hear the caller.

However, I can hear the VM IVR when dialing *98 which makes me wonder if my account has a problem more then port forwarding!

The device is running behind a Windows 2008 server acting as a NAT router. I have forwarded port 5060 to my device but i'm unsure if there's any audio ports I should forward as well?

I followed the Word document provided by Fongo to configure my PAP2-NA to rule out an ATA issue.

Any advice is welcome before I submit a ticket :)

You need to forward the RTP ports rather than the SIP port. The default ones on my PAP2T is 16384 to 16482.

Try that and see if it helps.
