one way audio in/out call after port my land line to FPL

Post by samuelcwsiu »

I bought the unlock key from freephoneline and use the phone for a week and everything worked. Then, I ported my landline phone number to freephoneline and I found out that most of the time, I got one way audio incoming and outgoing call. Sometime, it is working for few calls and then it is not work against.

For outgoing call, I got the dial tone, when I finished dialing, I heard the short ring tone and then it was silent. The far end user actually hear what I said. For the incoming callI, my phone ring and after I pick up the phone, I heard nothing. I feel frustrated.

I am using CISCO SPA122 and I set up the ATA following the information from this link.

Power down the ATA, modem. and router. wait 30 seconds, then power on everything. See what happens.

Hi there,

You should also consider upgrading the Firmware on your ATA.
