These I don't have on the ATA setup page:
Ring Tone Frequency: 52
Ring Tone Voltage: 90
Recommended Dial String: (911|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|1xxxxxxxxxx|011xxxxxxxxxxxx.|98*|[6-7]x*xxxxxxxxxxx.)
(please note that this is a Linksys dial string we use for our devices and may not work with third party, non-Linksys/Sipura devices)

I just want to know are you following the Grandstream HT-286 manual that there is in the device configuration? I followed the steps and it is perfect, where are you having the issues and what you get/do not get from there?

Re: I can not receive calls, my telephone does not ring.
Well, I don't know what exactly to follow as there's no troubleshooting for "not able to receive calls".
Also, now my unit is no more an HT286 but an HT287 Rev4.1 ...

I was looking for your version in the forum and did not find it but, hopefully should be the same settings as the HT-286, I will let you the link http://forum.freephoneline.ca/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=647marginal wrote:Well, I don't know what exactly to follow as there's no troubleshooting for "not able to receive calls".

Please follow those steps and should be fine.
Note: the dial string is not needed as FPL explained it is ONLY for the LInksys units, Grandstram should be fine

Yes Grandstreams should be left with the default dial string - HT287 Rev4.1 is simply the new firmware version.

I don't have exactly the same menu, but followed it as much as I could and still no income calls.

Re: I can not receive calls, my telephone does not ring.
Tell me something what are the options you do not find that the Config file has and in your ATA do not find, could you please post it here?
Also I think it is recommended you download a PDF of you ATA version just for future references, as this seems to be taking too long.
BTW, are you calling yourself with a cell or home phone?
Did you try to remove the Router and make a connection like Modem->ATA?

Re: I can not receive calls, my telephone does not ring.
Hi Winston.
I have a second phone line with justvoip.com that I use for long distance calls.
That's the one I was using to call and check the freephoneline one.
I might post screenshots of the H287 later.

That should be excellent also remember to get a PDF of your own ATA that might contain some useful information
