I have a freephoneline number I haven't used for several months. I have also never given out the phone number. When I look at phone logs there are calls that have been from anonymous to me, some of them lasting 4 minutes. How is this possible and what can I do about it?

The chances are they are the spam calls (you have won 1,000,000 Air miles just press 1 now!) or the spam faxes (I usually get one about windows).

They just dial numbers at random and get them more often than I would like. Do you see two entries for each call? If so the first one is the incoming call, then the second one is the call going to voicemail.
