Can I change my phone number?

Hello admin

I'm located at Montreal which the area code are 514 and 438!

And I have purchased the phone number from Montreal area with 438 long time ago!

From few month ago, Bell and Public mobile said my number is not located in Montreal. It's located in a small town at Quebec.

And they have charged for long distance fee from my cellphone. I have been fighted for weeks. ( why didn't charge me before, the answer was they don't know, the system is showing my fpl number which is long distance)

I would like to know would be possible for me to change a 514 phone number. Instead of registering a new account ,and paying another 50$!

They won't let you just change your number though.

You will have to set up a new account and then try and port/transfer the new number to the existing one. I know the FAQ says from FPL to Mobile, but support has mentioned this is other scenarios. I'm sure it would definitely work if you set up a Fongo Mobile account first and then ported to FPL.

I think I would double check by sending them a support ticket about this first, or trying to PM Fongo Support and ask there.
