Just wondering if anyone else has had more than the usual amount of dropped calls or if it's specific to my hardware. For some reason today almost every call dropped, usually between 3-9 minutes. Some were local, some were to a toll free number.
Of course the frustrating thing about this particular problem is not knowing where to try and fix it, as it could be almost anywhere along the pipe.
Every call today dropped

Re: Every call today dropped
Interesting,
Sorry, I gues I'm not much help if I don't post my details then it may be hard to identify some common factors between us:
Carrier: Telus
ISP: Teksavvy
Modem: Thomson speedtouch 516
Router: Linksys WRT320N
ATA: PAP2T
And just for interest here is my Red Green active cooling setup: my devices in an old CD Caddy on top of a Belkin Notebook Computer cooler tray.

Re: Every call today dropped
I love the setup there TSellers.
I haven't been having any issues, my set-up is pretty simplified. Zoiper softphone, Linksys WRT54G2, port forwarded and acting as the PPPoE host. (Older Linksys 802.11G card in desktop)
I'm surprised I haven't had any issues actually because I've been messing around with my SSH and SOCKS proxy today, and downloading 3 different Beta ISOs of RHEL 6.
I had a network drop at one point, Proxy and Mail server (mail not going over proxy) both failed. I wasn't in a call at that time, so I've been solid/stellar otherwise.
Oh, yeah, missed one step. I'm actually connecting to Sip Sorcery... and I think my Reg time is 600.
