Some weirdness to report
Just made a local call at 11:50 AM MST, during the ring, I heard some people talking for a few seconds. It was as clear as if I had called them, I suspect if I said something they would have heard me. Then when the line picked up, I got voice mail in a foreign language of some sort, sounded eastern european.
I hung up, then instead of redialling, I hit the redial button to be sure I redialed exactly the same number. This time my intended party answered the phone. Sounds like somehow my original call got onto the wrong network or something.

I didn't think the phone would have any bearing, however FWIW, I also was on a DECT 6.0. Go figure.

Re: Some weirdness to report
theoretically nothing should interfere with DECT as it uses the 1.9ghz frequency range, which is untouched by other electronics (supposedly)TSellers wrote:I didn't think the phone would have any bearing, however FWIW, I also was on a DECT 6.0. Go figure.

Was your cordless phone a Panasonic DECT 6.0?TSellers wrote:I didn't think the phone would have any bearing, however FWIW, I also was on a DECT 6.0. Go figure.
good thing our phone's are on that frequency (DECT 6.0 1.9ghz), i wouldn't wanna hear my computer (dial-up days), nor the microwaveFPL-steve wrote:theoretically nothing should interfere with DECT as it uses the 1.9ghz frequency range, which is untouched by other electronics (supposedly)TSellers wrote:I didn't think the phone would have any bearing, however FWIW, I also was on a DECT 6.0. but it's still compliant with the FCC part 15 rule. has to accept any interference. i wonder if the sun had sun spots that day or bursted a gama ray..

nope, looks clear.
