Has anyone had any luck in setting up their FPL account with an Android SoftPhone?
I downloaded CSIPSimple due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews.
They have a preset for FPL.
I unplugged power from my Obi100. I input my username (11 digit phone number) and my password (FPL SIP unlock code) into CSIPSimple and it reads "Registered".
When I try to dial out, it shows "488 / Not Acceptable Here" on the screen and does not complete the call.
Is this something to do with g729 having been removed from this client?

Re: FPL Account with CSIPSimple
OK, Now an update.
A couple of hours later, the account page in CSIPSimple still shows "Registered". When I try to dial out though, I hear "That password is not valid."
If the pw is wrong, should it show registered?

Re: FPL Account with CSIPSimple
I think I would double check the username and password to make sure you have it right. The 'registered' bit might just be that it is connecting to the server.
Remember the username is your phone number including the initial 1, and be very careful with the password as they chose a font that makes it difficult to distinguish between some characters like 1lIo0O. My suggestion is to copy and paste the password in a new notepad file, where it is much clearer to see.

Re: FPL Account with CSIPSimple
Absolutely correct. I had an l (lower case L) where I should have had a 1 (one}. Working fine now. Thanks.

Re: FPL Account with CSIPSimple
It's a pesky one that. One that could easily be fixed by hooking out characters that look similar, or displaying the password in a font like Courier, or just putting the <code> tag around it. I guess they went for making it look nice instead.
Glad you got it working though
