Being a free service, we can not provide official support for any third-party hardware or software that is not purchased through our company. Any third-party software/hardware used will need to find it's own support either here in our forums, or through the manufacturer/distributor.

I understand the support position of freephoneline.ca. However, can you elaborate on weather it allowed to connect using an asterisk server at home?

I am an advanced user and have wired the entire house so that each room has it's own extension and it's being managed by an Asterisk home server, I would love to use your service as well, but I would not want to abuse the service either.

We allow the connection, yes. But if there comes a time where abuse on the system forces us to restrict access from Asterisk / Trixbox etc... we retain the right to do so.
