fongo disconnects on wifi

Hello, with my new nexus5 android 5.0 i can recive and send calls on LTE but with wifi , fongo keeps disconnecting.I tried the option "always on wifi while phone is in sleep mode" . Does anyone have an idea about why it disconnects.Phone is at 3 feet from the router and signal is good. Thanks

I do not think this is a Fongo problem, more apt to blame this on the router. i suspect other things connect and disconnect, but you just do not notice because of the small amount of time in the disconnection. You do with VOIP, cannot buffer, and in real time, so if there is an interruption, you notice.

See if you can update the firmware on the router. What do you have for a router?

Thanks Bridonca, i am using a dlink dr-825 and it is supplied by my internet provider. Fongo is also disconnecting at home with my linksys router. Never had that problem with my old nexus one.Fongo was always connected. It may be coming from this last version of android or the nexus5 itself.Thanks for your help.

Because of the history of the DIR-825, I am still more apt to blame the router. I had this problem before with another Atheros chipset router. Some devices worked, others had connection issues. Pegged it as bad Vista drivers. When I flashed the firmware to DD-WRT, and mucked around with the antenna diversity settings, I ended up with a rock solid router, of which everything connected to it reliably.

The DIR-825 is one scary beast, it looks like it raided the spare parts bin! The same model number uses 4 different chipsets! Look at this! http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/d-link/dir-825

As for the other Dlink router with the connections issues with the same phone, I wager it is just as cruddy.
