Hi!
I have a Lynksys PAP2, with 2 possible lines. I have a 1st line with FreePhoneLine, line I call "Dad's line", since more than a year. I made tests with my cell phone. I could make and receive calls, they could hear me, but I could never hear anything. Then one magical day, it go fixed by itself. Since then, I got NO PROBLEM.
I wanted to add a 2nd line, for "my daughter". My daughter's line has the same problem as I had with my Dad's line last year. Even if I put my daughter's line in the 1st or 2nd line in my Linksys plug and configuration: No incoming sound. Still no problem with my Dad's line on 1st or 2nd plug, with or without the other line, my daughter's line never gives me incoming sound. All I do is change ID, number and password, nothing else.
Anybody can help me?
No sound

Re: No sound
Please try to set the following on your ATA:
SIP tab
Handle VIA received: yes
Handle VIA rport: yes
Substitute VIA Addr: yes
If that solves the problem, would you please be so kind as to post back here to let us know.
Also, please file a support ticket: http://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new
Advise them that all you change is the phone number and password, and you have one-way audio with your daughter's line only. Let them know whether or not this was solved by the above configuration.
