Can we setup Soft client and physical phone both time?

Hi team,
can we setup a sip software with unlock key and also setup a physical phone with same unlock key ?

I tried couple times, once I got both phones setup, but only my soft phone can pick the call.

Anyone has an idea about this ?

You can only register one device to an account at a time. As you found out things do not work out well if you try to connect more. What will happen is one will register and then the other stealing the registraion from the first device, then it will switch back again when the first device registers again.

There are a couple of workarounds, but it all depends on how far you want to take it.

1. set up a PBX, either on a computer or using a 3rd party like pbxes.org. This way you connect the pbx to your account, and then your other devices to your pbx. There are obviously pros and cons to this.
2. set up another account and set the calling to simultaneously ring both account numbers. A downside to this is the outbound calls will be different depending on which phone you use to call out.
