call hang up when using auto attendant

When I call my OBi 100 from my cell (which is a trusted caller) and redirect the call using option 2 of the auto attendant, the call hangs up as soon as the person at the other end picks up the phone ?

All the other features work great except the call redirection using the auto attendant.

Any suggestion ?

I do not have the ATA personally, but it sounds like it has an internal feature to set up a type of switchboard, one of those features I am guessing is to forward calls to another number. Unfortunately the FPL system will not all you to do this. It just has never allowed us to redirect calls from within an ATA. You are essentially trying to forward a call, and that has never worked.

What a few were trying to do in the past is like a DISA calling system, where you would call into a system, type in the number you wanted to call and be transferred to it. The would be fantastic for people with cells who put their FPL number on their friends and family list, thus essentially getting free outgoing calls. Again, this didn't work either unless you used a PBX.

So, if I have understood what you are trying to do, it won't work unfortunately.
