Post by tester2 »

hi guys,

I need your help, I have FPL Tel# line, so I need your help. when ever I am calling to any Tel#, then I don't want to show my FPL TEL# in their CID, so I like to know what settings I have to do, in order to not display my FPL Tel# in other CID.

Hopefully waiting for your reply.

I believe the official word is that will always pass on your phone number no matter what settings you have in your ATA. You can try and look in your ATA to see if there is a 'Block CID' setting on your ATA and if it makes any difference, but as I said I think they will always pass your phone number to other Telcos when you make an outgoing call.

hi there, I am using PAP2T-NA Phone Adapter, so I go to REGIONAL Tab, then in VERTICAL SERVICE ACTIVATION CODE, I got o the BLOCK CID PER CALL ACT CODE :*81 (*81 is written there), so what I have make changes here or on some other fields.

Thanks

Those are the codes you can dial to activate and deactivate things. *81 will need to be dialled each time you call, if you want to see if turning it on all the time works you will need to dial *67

Also look on your Line 1 tab (or line 2 if you are using that) and try changing Block CID Serv: from no to yes. As I said, I don't think it will make any difference and FPL will pass your CID on anyway, but it is worth a try.

Here is a thread on another forum about what you are trying to do http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r156552 ... ing-calls-
