Just bought an SPA2102 unlocked and update firmware to 5.2.10
Got the config file, followed the Admin setup instructions/screenshots from the
forums and included all the info from the config file.
When I call my VOIP number from my cell it rings and shows the CID but
when I pick up the phone connected to the SAP2010, the call just keeps ringing
on my cell. It doesn't pick up!?
Further when I try to make a call, I get a dial tone but after entering (xxx)xxx-xxxx or x(xxx)xxx-xxxx
nothing happens.
I am using the SPA2102 in Bridged mode with DHCP disabled. Modem>Linksys Router>SPA2102
Tripple checked all the required ports are forwarded to the SPA2010 and it is assigned a static IP.
I've read a few times that the ATA should be right after the modem but there must be a way to
configure it properly. I am a network admin so this is really odd to me. It doesn't help that I'm new
to VOIP and ATA but I'd really like to solve this puzzle.
Any ideas besides putting the ATA before the router?
Thanks!

Re: New user - Issues making and receiving calls
I just found a post that mentions that if you include and ampersnad & in the "Display Name" in the "Line 1" settings
it will cause the exact issues I have described for outgoing and incoming calls.
Will try tonight and report back. Amazing how one little character could cause so much greif!

Confirmed... that worked!
