Incoming ring once and goes straight to voice mail

hi all,
linksys spa1001 connected straight to the bell router with dmzplus enabled. Still rings only once and goes straight to voice mail. pls help

What do you have for a router? What do you have for a DSL modem? I am seeing a common trend when your SIP ATA has to go through 2 routers to get to the internet, which ends up causing not so good results. You can fix this by making one of the routers go away, either by making a router go away, withie by making the router into an access point, or by allowing the router to do all the PPPoP routering, instead of the DSL router.

If you see this message before 3:00pm on Friday, make a test call and private message me the details of the call and I'll check the logs.

if it's after 3:00, then send me the details Monday as I don't have the ability to access that system at home outside of my work hours.

I have the same issue. Initially it would just ring once before dropping the call, I changed the ring voltage, now it would just ring once and automatically goto voicemail.
