Hi,
For about a week now, I've been having a problem making a call to a family relative in Europe, all other calling features seem to be working fine but when we call the family there, it's just silence and the connection isn't made, but we're getting charged according to the call logs. Another relative of mine is also signed up with FPL and he can call this number fine. VOIP adapter is PAP2T-NA, we can call and receive local calls fine, the problem with that international number started a week or so ago... the world credits are 'refilled' so that's not the issue either.
Any ideas/advice?

Please try the settings in my post in this thread: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16294 . Let us know if that solves the problem, or not.

Re: Problem with an international call to Europe
Hi, I had most of this already set to yes (handle via received, handle via port, insert via received and insert via port). I didn't have 'substitute via received' set to on, enabled it now and will test it (bit late to call Europe at this point in the day). Should I set any of the above to 'no'? Also, it's only one number that seems to be problematic, not sure if this isn't something for FPL's tech people? problem only started in the last couple weeks.

Re: Problem with an international call to Europe
Normally I would say yes, except for your relative who also uses FPL and can make calls to that number. But if your new settings that you have now don't work, by all means file a ticket.joeschmoe wrote:Also, it's only one number that seems to be problematic, not sure if this isn't something for FPL's tech people?

Re: Problem with an international call to Europe
Didn't help, unfortunately... any router-related settings you can recommend? (got a dd-wrt firmware running on it)
(update) correction, it DID help - I guess I should've thought of *also* rebooting the pap2t unit after applying those changes, once I did that the calls are going through.
thanks again.
