always get 4-digit calls recently

Post by wecen »

Hi,

I really need your help, recently I always get 4-digit calls, the numbers are like 1060, 1000, and etc. How can I block those? Please give me some advice.

Is there a similar "patch" for blocking 4-digit calls for non-OBi ATA boxes?

Thanks.

The best thing to do is place your VoIP equipment behind a firewall. A good firewall will protect any VoIP equipment. I don't use the SPA122 so I'll let someone else speak specifically about that device.

Hi Mango,

Thanks.

Yes, my ATA box is behind my router with firewall (two steps removed from the modem).

I have not had any calls from 4-digits yet. But, just in case, I need the "fix". :)

If your firewall works properly, you should be fine. :)

If you wish, you may test at http://sipscanner.voicefraud.com/
