i would like to try the freephone line for a month using my own device.
as you mentioned, i need to register and buy a unlock key first.
if i need to keep my own number, i've to do a port forwarding with FPL.
can i do the port forward after a month of activation? or do i have to do at the same time when registering?
i am currently having VOIP with another provider.

Re: activation & port forwading
You can port your number into FPL at any stage. So as you say, set up a free account and buy the unlock key and test it for as long as you like. When you are happy with it port in your current number. Make sure also your number is in an area where it can be ported from (http://support.fongo.com/entries/228992 ... o-network-).
