Payment Options
The only reason that's stopping me from ordering FPL is The payment system, I don't have a credit card and do not want want to open one and pay with it. So I was wondering is there any other option I can pay with? Paypal, Online banking?
Thanks.

Thanks.

Re: Payment Options
We are implementing a "paypal" like online payment system into the website yes. Keep in mind it's a one time fee, so you can use a pre-paid mastercard or whichever you want to pay for it (Just buy one for like $200 and use the leftover money to buy something online!)

Thanks for the Quick and precise Reply. Do you know any timeline this will be complete? So is this "paypal" actually paypal or is it something else?

Re: Payment Options
I am checking with the programmers who are going to implement this and so far no reply. They are located in Bulgaria (5-6hr difference) so if I don't hear tonight I'll definitely post an answer tomorrow morning!

Your feedback for the paypal feature has certainly been noted!nikechristo wrote:I like the paypal payment idea, please implement it FPL.

Right now the next big jump for payment will be an online credit card form. This way people can order our ATA and config files securely online without needing to phone in. Of course for those who don't have a credit card you can use prepaid cards that can be bought at most drug stores - that way those under 18/19 can still order!

Re: Payment Options
That isn't really a solution, to tell people to get prepaid cards... as this has always been an option for those who don't have a c-c.
Also note that in some locations they can be pretty hard to find.
I would feel far more safe if you just implemented paypal. Credit cards charge you a percentage, so Paypal is not cost-prohibitive in that sense. PLUS, Paypal offers ready-made solutions for merchants, making implementation so much easier for you! The basic Paypal checkout page is probably free for using their service. And it is SAFE! No programmers in countries with dubious or unknown security screening procedures will have access to the programming code that processes our cards, and we do not have to reveal our actual credit card to any merchants.
I really don't understand why they are racking their brains over this when the solution is there and is so simple.
Cheers!

Re: Payment Options
It's not so much a racking of brains as integrating it with everything.
We've found a solution and it will be online soon - I assure you it identical if not more secure than paypal.

Re: Payment Options
I can't give you a date, but it is an online payment and account management system, for config files, porting, device ordering, etc... So yes, no waiting.
