Hi there... I thought I had this problem fixed when I reset the PAP2T and re-programmed it from the guide in the forum here, but inbound calls are still going direct to voicemail. I can place outbound calls. I'll do my best to describe the problem here and hope someone has some insight.
Like I said, I reset the adapter completely and then followed the guide here http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16294 using the additional settings by Mango. I have voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 set as my proxy and 5060 as my SIP port.
I have forwarded 5060-5061, 6060-6061 and 13000-13001 in the router settings. I've also tried DMZ with no joy as well.
When I checked the ports, they came back:
PORT STATE SERVICE
5060/udp open|filtered sip
5061/udp closed sip-tls
For reference, this ATA has worked for years with FPL... the only thing that has changed is the modem/router for Rogers' new 100Mbps internet. As far as I know, the CGN3 is the only modem they provide for this.
I'm at a bit of a loss here about how to proceed. Your suggestions are appreciated. I am aware that the CGN3ACR has issues with SIP ALG. I'll be candid here, I'm really not interested in spending any more money on a router just to get a free phone to work. If that's the solution than I will thank FPL for the years of great service and be on my way. You owe me nothing, I've more than got my initial $50 out of the service but (like most people) I use my cell phone 99% of the time. Until this is resolved I've just forwarded all the calls to my cell phone through "Follow Me" anyway (and yes, I undo that when I test any changes I make to the router/ATA).

It is not the ATA, it is the modem, the router part of the modem is VOIP hostile. The solution is to update the CGN3 firmware, put the CGN3 in bridge mode, and get a proper router, preferably one that is DD-WRT friendly.

I can say I'm not surprised. If anyone knows of a workaround, I'm all ears. I tried calling Rogers to get tech support to disable the SIP ALG, but they didn't even know what I was talking about.

Have you tried configuring your ATA with an alternate SIP Port? Try to pick a random number between 20000 and 65535. Perhaps that will work around the errant SIP ALG.
Why can't ISPs offer good routers?

Perhaps PAP2T is rejecting all calls. Do not Disturb or Call forward all might be enabled on the device.

Well, color me embarrassed. This seems to have fixed the problem. I'll give it a few more days of testing before I declare it completely resolved but so far so good.

If that indeed was the case - I'm curious it survived a reset. In any case I'm glad things are working.
