Re: How many ATA supported
The restriction will come from how many calls you want to make at a time, not the ATAs connected.
I think I read somewhere that it was 0.5Mb per call, so theoretically you could make 20 calls. (are you sure it is 25 up and 10 down? That seems back to front to me).
You can either use an ATA or the desktop app. You cannot use both at the same time on the same account. The advantage of the desktop app is you will not need to buy the unlock key which you will need if you use an ATA. There are obvious advantages of using an ATA though, like being able to use a normal phone.
How many lines are you thinking you are going to use?

Bandwidth consumption of G.711u with overhead is approximately 100 kilobits (0.1 megabits) per second, in each direction. You're limited by the slower of the two speeds. Assuming you can load your internet connection to 80% of its capacity without excessive jitter and packet loss, the calculation is:user6497 wrote:Can u please tell me that how many FPL ATA are supported with same internet ..i am using 25Mb up and 10 Mb down
(10 Mb/s * 80%) / 0.1 Mb/s = 80 simultaneous calls.
Though 80 simultaneous calls is a theoretical maximum, this assumes that there is no other internet traffic. If there is email/browsing/streaming video/torrents, the number of simultaneous calls possible will obviously be proportionately less.
If you're interested in buying an ATA, OBi ATAs are the most popular and most configurable.
If you like, let us know some more specific details about your project and we'll try to offer some more advice.

Also, if you are asking this question, it may be better to setup a PBX Setup. Maybe download asterisk that way you can setup multiple FPL accounts on one asterisk box, and configure multiple trunks.
Im not sure how many FPL accounts you can put in one asterisk box however. Someone else may be able to answer that.

I am testing with 5 FPL trunks and one GV and works fine.
Thanks,
