Hi,
Long time Fongo Mobile user, though I typically just use it to text and make short calls. Today I tried it on a conference call through my work; incoming audio was great, but whenever I spoke, others reported that my voice cut out considerably and it sounded like I was far away.
I'm using the latest version of the app on my BlackBerry Q5 with the latest 10.3.2 updates. WiFi is good and strong (I was 5 ft from the router during the call).
When I had an older Android, I recalled seeing some extra settings such as "low bandwidth codec", echo cancellers, etc. I don't see those settings in Fongo now; are they only available for certain devices?
Any help is appreciated!

Opened a ticket in the meantime. This issue persists and it's much more frequent now. Just called a local business and the person who picked up said my voice kept cutting in and out.

Looks like your Internet is up and own.
I can reproduce the issues you are describing very easy:
1. Voice cut:
While I am on a call, I will try to upload a large file to the cloud and download something else from Internet.
result- the person who I am taking with will complain that my voice is cut and they are unable to hear me properly
2. call drop after a while
While I am on a call, I reboot my ATA or disconnect network cable. Or if thi sis Fongo Mobile, I disable wifi on my router while I am on a call using a PC or laptop.
result- for 3 seconds, I will say "hello" and will hear dead air. After 3 seconds, fast busy and call end.
You may need to setup QOS for#1 and for #2 to check network cable between ATA device and your router. If this is Fongo Mobile- perhaps you can change your DNS on your router to google DNS or others.

It's Fongo Mobile in this case. I'll try to change the DNS server. I'm currently using open DNS.
I don't know what you mean by my internet being up and down. I wasn't doing any sort of bandwidth-heavy activity during either of the call. All other VoIP-like connections (Skype, work line through Lync, FPL) are working fine on the same connection.
I'm on FPL too, and that is working perfectly. It has QoS set up in the router settings.

I am not able to comment for Skype or others, but there are 2 tickets with FPL (ATA) dropped call 15 minutes and 90 minutes from you.
I strongly encourage you to check the connection.
Perhaps Mango or any other Forum moderators can make some valid suggestions.
