I've got my SIP Config for FPL set up on a PBX....
Is there a special error code I can set the box to return that would lead FPL to give the user a busy line rather than send them to VoiceMail... or is it hardcoded such that any error code will lead to VM.
I have currently set a 408 error to be returned ... however that triggers FPL's VM...
Get FPL to give a busy message rather than VM...

In which scenarios would you like a busy signal?
Registration error 408 is request time out, this would be the case if your device was unreachable or something was blocking the flow of RTP packets.
Selectively changing which errors callers do and do not hear, is not a capability we will likely give users.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do what you're asking at present time.

Re: Get FPL to give a busy message rather than VM...
The idea is to get some pestering telemarketers to think I do not exist
... I've got some actually leaving VM messages...
I realize it would be too much work for you to add this option on the front-end ... but the PBX I'm using with my SIP Config already had the option (which means I can already change it on my end)...so I figured I'd ask and see if a code would trigger a "Busy" instead of VM...
Not a major issue...

don't know if it's possible from your PBX, but accpt the call and then immediately drop it? although the caveat that I see is you'd have to know the number, and if they block it, you're screwed.

I use sipsorcery to forward telemarketers to sip:300@sip.blueface.ie.
