Everything was working fine for the past several days. Then today, after receiving or making a call, the line will drop after a few seconds (or sometimes after a couple of minutes) and become dead air.
What is causing this and how do we fix this?
We're getting internet from Rogers and we're using the ObiHai Ob202 ATA. I have the internet going from the Rogers modem to the ATA and then from the ATA to a router, from which it goes to the computer. This is supposed to prioritize the internet traffic for voice.

My words are choppy, dropped or muffled
I'm having an issue similar to that described at this posting:
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... lost+words
I can hear the other person fine. However, the other person cannot hear me well. Sometimes, my words are choppy, dropped or muffled. The line was working fine since December until a few days ago. This problem happens whether I make the outgoing call or receive the call.
I'm using Rogers' 30 Mbps download internet and OBiHai 202 adapter.
Can anyone help explain what the problem is? At the above posting ( http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... lost+words ), commenters said that a problem was fixed at Freephoneline. Has the same or another problem arise at Freephoneline?

I was really hoping that Mango or another OBI expert can pitch in but looks like they are busy assisting other customers.
Until they reply, I would suggest to try this workaround and let us know:
Make this default setting: OBi's Ethernet ports to 100 mb/s full duplex

I tried that, but to no avail.Fongo Support wrote:

It seems to have gotten worse. When speaking, the line will become dead silent intermittently, so that words or the voice gets dropped or cut off intermittently. The other person will only hear a few, sporadic words. Sometimes entire sentences are cut off. This happens sometimes when the caller is speaking and sometimes when the receiver is speaking.
In another unit in the same condo building, there is a near identical Freephoneline set-up with ObiHai 202 adapter as well, except this other unit is using Bell Sympatico Fibe 10 Mbps download. This line seems to work fine. The unit with the problem is using Rogers 30 Mbps internet. Is it possible that Rogers is the problem?
