Can't record voicemail greeting

Hi,

I signed up for a freephoneline account and got my voicemail setup to the freephoneline number. The voicemail works and i can record messages, but i can't seem to access the *98 menu to change the greeting (i also tried 1198)

When i dial *98 it just beeps and the call ends. I tried logging in through the remote access number and i get a "That account number does not exist" message.

I have galaxy nexus, if that helps.

I think you enter wrtong account number when you tried remotely.

If your number is 647-547-xxxx than your account number is 1-647-547-xxxx

thanks that helped, i was able to log in and change my greeting. the *98 still doesnt work, but i can log in through the remote access number.

Hi,

For *98 to work, you need:

a) correct dial plan (for ATA)
b) correct sip server(for ATA)
c) firewall open if you use Desktop app

can you please check this.
