1./ In my "Voicemail Settings", in "Rings before voicemail", I see that the maximum number of rings can only be set to 5.
- Can this not be set to a higher number of rings?, and/or, can I disable voicemail completely?, do I have to do it at the Voip Router?
The reason is, the base of my Panasonic Cordless phone has to plugged into my Voip router in the basement, to charge, but sometimes I'm upstairs and I can't get to it ?
(and please DO NOT ask me to go out and purchase extra cordless handsets !)
2./ I noticed that there is a software Voip Desktop App for Windows and Mac, is there ever gonna be one for Linux ?
Regards.

Re: Rings before voicemail?, and where's the Linux App ?
You cannot set the rings any higher than 5 because Fongo make a tiny amount of money on any call that terminates, so if the call is not picked up, Fongo makes no money. It is one of the ways Fongo keeps the lights on while still offering a core free service.
My guess on the native app for Linux, probably never. (I am aware that Android uses Linux, but that is more trivia than anything helpful) You could put an Android layer on your Linux build to solve your problem probably, or you can get freephoneline SIP settings for $70 and use any SIP client you want.
