Does anyone have any experience porting their number from Virgin mobile? Specifically their prepaid plan.
I'm trying to port over to Fongo but twice now Fongo contacted me that there was an error transferring due to 'lack of mobile account information" and " If you have a pay-as-you-go account, please submit the IMEI number."
I found my phone's ESN number on the web site, which I'm told is their network version of IMEI. I also got my account number from the rep on Friday, since I had to call them anyways. I submitted both back to Fongo but they just reported the transfer it failed again due to 'lack of moible account information."
Has anyone done this and can direct me on what to do next?

You need to get the number that is on the SIM card, not the phone. that usually requires you to take the SIM card out and look at the numbers. You might have to talk to Virgin to get them to tell you what your account number is, or the info on your SIM.
