Freephoneline desktop app login error
Hi Support,
I have downloaded the desktop app: Freephoneline-Setup_3_2_7.exe, installed ok, but when try to login, it is not accepting my credentials, getting " Wrong user name or password". Looked thru the FAQ's, fongo does not support freephoneline free number s.
Not sure what to do here and hence posting it here hoping to get an answer. There is is no support tel# either.
Thank you,
Nader

Re: Freephoneline desktop app login error
You can't use a Fongo login to connect with the FPL desktop app.
If you want to use the FPL desktop app you will have to create a FPL account, and therefore get a second number. Unfortunately this is the only way to so it.

OK, well it looks like you are in the right place then. The only reason for my post was you mentioned Fongo does not support freephoneline free numbers. From that I wrongly got the impression you were a Fongo customer.
Carry on

Re: Freephoneline desktop app login error
I feel a bit hesitant in suggesting things that you may know already, but while you were in the support pages did you see the support ticket section? https://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new
As you said, there is no phone number to call this is because they moved to a ticket based system.
Or as Bridonca says, just set up a new account and try that one. If you are able to login @ www.freephoneline.ca and download the desktop app, then you should be able to use the same details to log into the app with. There could be an issue with your account somewhere which we can't really help with on the forum. You will have to contact support through the ticket.

Re: Freephoneline desktop app login error
Hi Jake and Bridonca,
Thank you for your time and suggestions. Here's how I setup my account:
1) used the FPL portal to create an account and obtained new tel #
2|) went into download section and downloaded the desktop app, installed it, did not work. So I thought I may give out few days to use it
3) setup the 911 section, updated and then forwarded the new FPL tel # to my cell -phone - which is working fine for now
4) tried again to login with the FPL desktop application, it is keep failing the authentication, on the other hand I am ok to login to my account thru the web portal
5) started browsing thru support forums and not finding any help and no support tel # to speak to anyone
6) would you be king enough to let me know the SLA for the support tkt
I am afraid my FPL tel# would get deleted if I do not make an out bound call with in 90 days. I would like to keep the FPL tel#
Thank you,
Nader

I don't understand what you mean by SLA.

Re: Freephoneline desktop app login error
SLA=service level agreement
What I mean here is: does anyone knows the turn around time frame when a support ticket is created and how long does it take for support to answer/ offer solution to the issue.
